Wachirabenchathat Park, often called Rot Fai Park after the railway land it occupies, is a large green space in northern Bangkok popular for cycling. Its wide, flat paths loop past lawns, lakes and gardens, making it a favourite for families and cyclists, who can hire bicycles at its gates. A butterfly garden and greenhouse add botanical interest, and the park connects to two adjoining parks to form one of the city's largest continuous green areas. Spacious and shaded, it offers a relaxed contrast to the dense inner districts.
