Often known by its initials, this privately founded museum on the northern edge of Bangkok holds one of the largest collections of modern and contemporary Thai art. Its many floors are filled with paintings and sculpture built around the personal collection of a telecommunications magnate, with a strong emphasis on works blending Buddhist themes with contemporary technique. The white marble building, carved with delicate patterns, is a striking landmark. Galleries also display selected Western and other Asian works for comparison.
