This office skyscraper on Collins Street was for many years the tallest building in Melbourne and one of the tallest in the Southern Hemisphere when completed in 1986. Its dark reflective glass twin-set form rises above the western end of the city's financial district. An observation deck near the top once drew crowds for panoramic views across the city, bay and surrounding suburbs, though it has since changed use. The tower's sheer facade mirrors the sky and neighbouring heritage buildings, and it remains a defining element of Melbourne's.
