This former sugar estate on the leeward coast of Tobago preserves a 19th-century waterwheel and mill machinery amid gardens now known for their rich birdlife. The old estate grounds attract hummingbirds, motmots, and other species that feed in the surrounding forest. A small heritage precinct interprets the plantation's history alongside the natural setting. The mix of industrial relic and wildlife garden makes it a favoured stop for birdwatchers and history-minded visitors on the island.
