A rainforest reserve running along Tobago's mountainous spine, legally protected since 1776 and often cited as the oldest such reserve in the Western Hemisphere. The Gilpin Trace trail descends through giant ferns and mora trees, with chances to spot the white-tailed sabrewing hummingbird found almost nowhere else.
