The RCMP Heritage Centre in Regina tells the story of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the national force whose training academy has stood on the site since the 1880s. Housed in a modern building by a prominent Canadian architect, its galleries display uniforms, weapons, vehicles and artifacts tracing the Mounties from the frontier North-West Mounted Police to modern service. Exhibits explore the force's role in the settlement of the West. Beside the academy, visitors can watch a ceremonial drill in summer.
