Wascana Centre

Wascana Centre is a vast urban park in the heart of Regina built around a constructed lake, ranking among the largest city parks in North America. Its lawns, trails and marshes surround the Legislative Building, a university campus and the provincial art gallery and science centre. A waterfowl sanctuary shelters pelicans, geese and migratory birds within sight of downtown. The park serves as the ceremonial and recreational core of the prairie capital, hosting festivals, fireworks and outdoor concerts.
