Doual'art

Doual'art is a contemporary art centre in Douala's Bonanjo district that commissions and stages public art across the city. Founded in the early 1990s, it has driven the SUD urban-art triennial and installed sculptures and murals in neighbourhoods far from conventional galleries. Its exhibition space shows work by Cameroonian and international artists, while its wider mission treats the whole city as a canvas for civic memory. It is a hub for the country's modern creative scene.
