The Tiskiwin Museum, sometimes called the Bert Flint Museum, occupies a traditional house in the Marrakesh medina near the Bahia Palace and Dar Si Said. It is built around the private collection of the Dutch anthropologist Bert Flint, who assembled objects tracing the cultural links between Morocco and sub-Saharan Africa along the historic trans-Saharan trade routes. The displays, arranged as a journey from Marrakesh to Timbuktu, include textiles, jewellery, leatherwork and instruments. Its focus on Saharan exchange sets it apart.
