A tall broadcasting tower rising above the Ministry of Information complex in central Riyadh, long one of the tallest structures in the city before the skyscraper boom. Built in the 1970s and 1980s, its slender concrete shaft carries a rounded observation and equipment pod near the top. Illuminated at night, it remains a familiar landmark on the older part of the skyline. While primarily a working transmission tower, its distinctive silhouette makes it a recognisable orientation point for residents crossing the central districts.
