King Abdulaziz Historical Center

A cultural and museum district in central Riyadh created around the restored Murabba Palace and the National Museum. Laid out with gardens, water channels and shaded walkways, it was developed to mark the centenary of the kingdom's founding. The complex gathers several institutions, a mosque and a large public library on landscaped grounds. Families gather here in the evenings, and the open plazas host national celebrations, making it one of the capital's main civic gathering places and a focal point for Saudi heritage.
