Inaugurated in 2022, this is the largest mosque in Central Asia, built on the outskirts of Astana with capacity for tens of thousands of worshippers across its prayer halls and courtyards. Its enormous central dome and four towering minarets dominate the skyline, while the interior is finished with marble, chandeliers and extensive Islamic ornament. The complex includes libraries, teaching spaces and gardens, and its sheer scale has made it a landmark visible from far across the surrounding steppe.
