This riverside promenade runs along the western bank at the confluence of the Tonle Sap and Mekong rivers, forming one of the capital's most popular public spaces. Lined with restored colonial-era shophouses, cafes, restaurants and hotels, it draws crowds in the cooler evening hours when families stroll, exercise groups gather and vendors set up along the water. The quay passes close to the royal palace and its riverfront pavilion, and the wide views over the meeting rivers make it a favoured sunset spot.
