Paigah Tombs

Hidden in a quiet southern neighbourhood, this cluster of tombs belongs to the aristocratic Paigah family who served the Nizams as nobles and generals. The monuments are celebrated for their exquisite lime-and-marble stucco work, with intricate geometric screens and delicately carved canopies unlike anything else in the city. Small courtyards enclose the marble graves beneath ornamented pavilions. Far less visited than Hyderabad's larger monuments, it preserves the finest Deccani craftsmanship.
