A granite mountain rising on the northeastern edge of Seoul, popular with city hikers for its rocky ridgelines, waterfalls, and clusters of temples and hermitages tucked into its slopes. Its craggy peaks offer sweeping views over the surrounding metropolitan area and toward the neighboring higher massifs. Well-marked trails of varying difficulty climb through pine forest to exposed summits fitted with railings and steps. Its proximity to residential districts makes it one of the busiest hiking mountains in the capital.
