The headquarters of a major broadcaster on the Odaiba waterfront is instantly recognizable for the enormous titanium-clad sphere suspended within its steel lattice frame, designed by a leading contemporary architect in the mid-1990s. The sphere houses an observation deck offering panoramic views across Tokyo Bay, the harbor bridge, and the distant skyline, and open-air walkways link the building's twin towers. As a symbol of the reclaimed island's transformation, the futuristic structure is among the most photographed on the bayfront.
