Loshitsa Park is a historic landscaped estate on the southern edge of Minsk, centred on a restored manor house and set where two rivers meet. Old avenues of trees, a former orchard, a mill and remnants of a nineteenth-century garden give it a romantic, faintly melancholy atmosphere. The manor now houses displays on estate life, while the grounds are a favourite for cycling and quiet walks. Visitors come for the blend of gentle history and greenery, especially in spring when the surviving fruit trees and lilacs come into bloom.
