Chisinau City Hall

The City Hall of Chisinau is a handsome late nineteenth-century building on the main boulevard, designed in a Venetian Gothic style with pointed arched windows, a corner clock tower and decorative brickwork. It has served the municipal administration since it was built and remains one of the most photographed civic buildings in the capital. Its ornate facade contrasts with the simpler classical and Soviet-era structures nearby, the tower an easy landmark.
