This open-air collection beside Riga International Airport gathers dozens of Soviet-era aircraft and helicopters gathered by an enthusiast over decades. Fighters, transports, trainers and rotorcraft stand in rows on the apron, many rare survivors of their type. The assembly grew from equipment left after the collapse of the Soviet Union, making it a distinctive record of Cold War aviation. Visitors walk among the machines to inspect them closely, and aviation enthusiasts value the museum as one of the largest such gatherings in the region.
