Pilsner Urquell Brewery

The Pilsner Urquell Brewery in Plzen is the birthplace of pale lager, where in 1842 a Bavarian brewer first produced the clear, golden beer that gave the world the pilsner style. The historic complex is entered through a monumental double-arched gatehouse that has become the brand's emblem.
