The Market Hall of Wrocław is an early-20th-century covered market notable for its pioneering reinforced-concrete parabolic arches, an engineering advance for its time. Opened in 1908, the vast hall shelters two floors of stalls selling produce, flowers, meat, cheese and regional specialities beneath a soaring vaulted roof. It has functioned continuously as a working marketplace, surviving the war largely intact. Near the cathedral island, it draws local shoppers and remains one of the liveliest everyday spaces in the city.
