Set in the heart of the old Jewish quarter, this Baroque building was constructed in the late seventeenth century as a residence for aged and infirm priests. Its arcaded central courtyard features a sunken fountain designed to conserve water, an ingenious response to the summer heat. The complex includes a lavishly frescoed church and now houses a cultural foundation with a collection centered on Sevillian Golden Age painting. The quiet patios and rich decoration offer a tranquil counterpoint to the bustling streets of the surrounding quarter.
