Tyniec Abbey

A Benedictine abbey perched on a limestone bluff above the Vistula on the outskirts of Kraków, founded in the eleventh century. The white walls and church tower rise dramatically over the river bend. Monks here revived a tradition of chant and produce herbal goods.
