El Poblado

El Poblado is Medellín's most affluent and cosmopolitan district, a hillside quarter of leafy ravines, glass towers and terraced restaurants in the south of the city. Once the site of the original Spanish settlement that grew into Medellín, it is now the centre of the city's upscale dining, nightlife and international scene.

Its significance reflects the city's transformation.
