A miniature Sahara at the neck of the Paraguaná Peninsula, where wind-driven dunes up to 40 meters high migrate across the isthmus. Just minutes from the colonial city of Coro, the barchans are busiest at sunset with sandboarders, camera-toting visitors, and the occasional camel ride.
