A hillside village north of Ijevan that has become the province's main hub for active travel, with ziplining, horseback riding and via ferrata routes running through the surrounding canyons. The village sits at the edge of the dramatic Khachaghbyur gorge, whose cliffs conceal caves with carved reliefs. Guesthouses and a resort complex make it one of the easier rural bases in Tavush.
