A dormant stratovolcano dominating western Saint Kitts, climbed via a steep rainforest trail that ends at the rim of a deep, vegetated crater. The route passes through farmland and cloud forest where vervet monkeys are common, and clear days reward hikers with views across to neighboring islands.
