A stone marker above Lake Tanganyika at Mugere commemorating the night explorers David Livingstone and Henry Morton Stanley spent here in 1871, shortly after their famous meeting. The bluff offers wide views over the lake toward the mountains of the DRC. It pairs easily with a beach afternoon south of Bujumbura.
