A rolling montane grassland plateau above 2,000 meters, unlike any other landscape in the region, scattered with orchids, roan antelope, and zebra. Misty mornings and wide horizons give it a highland atmosphere closer to Scotland than the Rift Valley below. Mountain biking, riding, and multi-day treks cross its open ridgelines.
