Good to know
A forested volcanic massif rising like an island from the northern Kenyan desert, its craters holding mist-fed lakes such as Lake Paradise. The park is known for elephants with unusually large tusks and for the cultures of the surrounding Borana, Rendille, and Samburu communities.
