Often called Central Africa's most spectacular waterfall, Kongou sees the Ivindo River shatter into dozens of channels and cascades over three kilometers of black rock deep in the rainforest. Reaching it requires a pirogue journey and forest hike, which keeps visitor numbers tiny.
