The Corn Islands—Big Corn and Little Corn—are two small islands lying 70 kilometres off Nicaragua's Caribbean coast, surrounded by coral reefs and warm, clear water. Little Corn in particular is fully car-free, accessible only by panga boat, with sandy paths connecting rustic guesthouses and a handful of dive operations. The surrounding reef supports healthy coral formations, nurse sharks, and hawksbill turtles.
