Huatulco

A planned resort development on the Pacific coast of Oaxaca comprising nine bays, Huatulco is spread across headlands and protected coves that retain much of their original forest cover. The development was planned with ecological preservation requirements, leaving the majority of the surrounding land undeveloped. Snorkeling off rocky points, sport fishing, and white-water rafting on the Copalita River are among the outdoor activities available.
