Bruce Peninsula National Park protects the escarpment and forest of the Niagara Escarpment's northern terminus on the peninsula separating Georgian Bay from Lake Huron. The park's most iconic feature is the Grotto near Cyprus Lake, a sea cave worn into the dolomite cliff face where turquoise Georgian Bay water enters through a submerged arch. The surrounding landscape holds one of the world's greatest concentrations of terrestrial orchid species.
