Stretching 232 kilometres between Banff and Jasper national parks, the Icefields Parkway is widely regarded as one of the most scenic mountain highways in the world. The route passes beneath towering peaks, alongside glacially fed turquoise lakes, past active icefields, and through valleys rich with wildlife. Principal photographic stops include Bow Lake, Peyto Lake, Athabasca Glacier, and the Weeping Wall.
