Situated on a wave-scoured granite promontory along St. Margarets Bay, Peggys Cove is one of Atlantic Canada's most photographed settings. The red-and-white lighthouse perched on bare rock above the Atlantic is a defining image of the Nova Scotia coast. The village itself retains the character of a traditional fishing community, with colourful wooden sheds clustered around a small harbour.
