Molokini is a partially submerged volcanic crater located roughly 4 kilometers off Maui's southwest coast, forming a crescent-shaped islet enclosing a shallow marine sanctuary. The interior of the crater shelters calm, clear water with visibility often exceeding 30 meters, making it one of the best snorkeling and diving sites in the Hawaiian archipelago.
