The American and Bridal Veil Falls on the United States side, combined with the larger Canadian Horseshoe Falls, form the highest-flow waterfall system in North America, with an average of more than 85,000 cubic feet of water per second passing over the crest. Prospect Point on the American side places visitors at the edge of the gorge directly across from the full width of the American Falls. In winter, ice bridges form in the gorge and ice trees encrust the surrounding landscape, creating a dramatically different visual environment from the warm-season mist.

Where next?

The world is wide open.
