Skylon Tower

The Prospect Point Observation Tower rises beside the American Falls in the New York state park at Niagara Falls, giving visitors an elevated platform out over the gorge. The tower and its connected walkways extend to the very brink of the American Falls and lead down toward the base of the cataract, where boat tours depart. From the upper deck the full sweep of the falls and the churning Niagara River comes into view, with Canada on the far bank. The surrounding park is among the oldest in the country.
