A park near Moab, Utah, containing over 2,000 natural stone arches formed in red Entrada sandstone by salt dissolution and erosion. Delicate Arch, a 65-foot freestanding arch visible against the La Sal Mountains, is the most iconic, reached by a 3-mile round-trip trail. Landscape Arch in Devils Garden is among the longest natural arches on Earth. The Windows section offers accessible viewing of multiple large arches. Crowds are heaviest in spring and fall.
