Set on the shore of Lake Wakatipu and encircled by the Remarkables mountain range, Queenstown is a lakeside resort town that functions as the adventure tourism capital of New Zealand. The surrounding landscape offers skiing in winter, bungee jumping, white-water rafting, and tramping in summer. Gondola access to Bob's Peak provides an aerial perspective over the lake and the Remarkables.
