A series of limestone sea stacks rising from the Southern Ocean along the Great Ocean Road, the Twelve Apostles are photographed most dramatically in the golden light of sunrise and sunset when warm tones saturate the rock faces against dark water. The formations sit within Port Campbell National Park and are accessible from a clifftop viewing platform. Helicopter flights provide an aerial perspective of the full coastal arc.
