One of the world's longest lava tube systems at roughly 13 kilometres, Manjanggul was formed by basaltic lava flows and is now a UNESCO-listed natural monument. Only the first kilometre is open to the public, but within that section visitors encounter lava stalagmites, shelving formations, and the impressive seven-metre lava column — a centrepiece of the accessible section.
