A 97-meter waterfall where Lake Chuzenji drains over a volcanic rock face into the Daiya River gorge below, considered one of Japan's three most celebrated waterfalls. An elevator descends to an observation platform at the base, offering a close perspective on the main drop and the surrounding basalt columns. The gorge is set within Nikko National Park and framed by forest that turns vivid in autumn.
