Tso Moriri, also called Lake Moriri, is a high-altitude lake in the Changthang plateau at about 4,522 metres, less visited than Pangong Tso and significantly more remote. Its deep blue waters are flanked by the Chamser and Lungser Kangri peaks and nomadic Changpa settlements, making it one of the most pristine wetland environments in the western Himalayas. The lake is a protected Ramsar wetland and breeding ground for bar-headed geese and black-necked cranes.
