Saas-Fee is a car-free village at 1,800 metres in the Saastal of Valais, encircled by thirteen peaks above 4,000 metres including the Dom at 4,545 metres, the highest peak entirely in Switzerland. The village is unusual in sitting within the arc of the Fee Glacier, which descends toward it on three sides. The Mittelallalin station at 3,500 metres provides access to year-round glacier skiing and contains the world's highest revolving restaurant.
