The Brienz Rothorn is a summit at 2,350 metres above Lake Brienz, reached by a steam-operated rack railway that has run since 1892. The summit provides views across Lake Brienz to the north and toward the Bernese Alps to the south. The steam locomotives on the line remain in original working condition, making the journey itself a heritage attraction.
