Bachalpsee

Bachalpsee is a small mountain lake at 2,265 metres above Grindelwald, reached by gondola to First station and a 30-minute walk. On calm mornings, the Schreckhorn and Wetterhorn reflect in the lake's surface, producing a photograph taken by countless visitors but remaining genuine in its alpine grandeur. The surrounding plateau is carpeted with wildflowers from late June through August.
