Valle dei Templi

The Valle dei Templi at Agrigento contains the most complete assembly of ancient Greek temples outside of Greece, strung along a ridge overlooking the sea and the modern city below. Seven temples of Doric order survive in varying states of preservation, with the Temple of Concordia among the best-preserved in the entire Greek world. Night illumination of the temples against the dark sky has made the site a recurring subject for long-exposure photography.
