La Graciosa is the smallest inhabited island in the Canary Islands, separated from northern Lanzarote by the El Río strait and accessible only by ferry. The island has no paved roads, two small villages, and several undeveloped white-sand beaches including Playa de las Conchas to the north. Its absence of motor traffic and low-key infrastructure make it one of the quietest and least-developed destinations in the archipelago.
